Robert Wilson – Home Manager
Our Support Workers have daily involvement with all aspects of care and support for our Service Users. This may involve assisting with personal care, medication or accompanying to appointments or on activities; it is both challenging and rewarding, encompassing a wide range of duties and responsibilities.
The job role is centred upon supporting the service users in a respectful and empathetic manner, which enables them to take control of their lives, reach their full potential and live as independently as possible.
We expect our Support Workers to have or be working towards an appropriate HSC QCF Level 2 qualification, but will also encourage and support those who wish to progress and work towards higher levels. Holding a full, clean, driving licence, enabling the Support Worker to drive company vehicles to take Service Users out is also advantageous.
Support Workers may be offered Full-time or Part-time contracts depending on the needs of the individual Home, working a standard shift pattern that includes evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
Support Workers work under direction from Team Leaders, Deputy or Registered Managers.
